The new display for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will take up nearly the entire front of the curved device leaving only very slim top and bottom bezels. We had been hearing rumors that Samsung would be calling this all new display the "Infinity Display". It looks like Samsung has made the moniker official according to a recent USPTO trademark. The application specifies that the technology will be used primarily for mobile telephones. The application was filed on February, 24.
