For those of us enthralled by the inner workings of technology, Samsung has an interesting (if a little dry) video demonstration of the big.LITTLE Architecture. It is running in their new Exynos 5 Octa-Core chip using the dual-cortex A15 paired with the triple-cortex A7. Furthermore, the testing version they are using does not contain a GPU. The main technological breakthrough they demonstrate is the efficiency tweaks of the technology as it intelligently offloads data processing across the architecture.

I wonder just how power-efficient this will actually be in final working form. If it lives up to its promise, it could really save battery life.

A "little" dry??! :p Very interesting but moves very slowly.
