The latest tidbits on the Samsung front were just shared by one of their VPs. Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of the company’s mobile business, indicated that the Galaxy S5 will be coming to market in April of this year. He hinted at some additional details as well, suggesting that the new flagship will have a fresh new look with a "different design" than past iterations. Mr. Hee also shared the possibility that the SGS5 will come with an Iris scanner on board, although that is only a remote possibility.
Finally, Hee also indicated that a new Gear device will launch at the same time as the SGS5, and that it will have a less bulky design and more advanced features. We aren't sure what to think about the Gear announcement, but the Galaxy S5 intel is quite intriguing. Stay tuned for more details!
