Chromebooks are great for those who mostly use their laptops to consume. Anytime someone asks me which laptop they need I ask them if they do any editing or gaming. If the answer is no then I often point them in the direction of a Chromebook. It's not that a Chromebook couldn't do some of those things its just that a Chromebook's live in the cloud. They don't run a traditional OS like Windows or Mac and pretty much need the internet to operate.
If you are into that sort of thing the all new Samsung Chromebook Plus is officially up for pre-order. It will be available for retail purchase on February 13 and the price is only $449. It features a 12.3" LED touchscreen, ARM OP1 hexa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 39W battery, 720p webcam, two USB Type-C ports, SD card slot S-Pen stylus and the Google Play Store.
