Saving a picture to a folder

Is it possible to save a picture to folders I already have set up on my sd card?
Can you move a picture within the phone to a folder? Or do I have to put the sd card in my lap top and move the pics that way? (which is what I've been doing)

If you have Astro file manager you can create folders and put what you want in it. Astro is free in the market and is a great app to have.
