Saving Apps to SD Card??

First, can I get an explanation on the benefits of saving apps to the SD card. Should I save them there or not? Second, why can I move some apps to the SD card and not others? Thanks...

Benefits are you have more space for apps that cannot install on the SD card.

If you want to, there might be a slight performance loss in installing them to the SD card, might.

You can only move some apps because the devs let you move them.

It only helps if you have a ton of apps on the phone. I've had my phone since November and have never come close to using up all my internal storage. I have found that as easy it is to install an app from the market if I am only going to use very infrequently I do not keep it on my phone. For instance, I use Google Sky about once a month and no longer keep it stored on the phone. I just install it when I'm going to use it.
