Saving current position in Google Maps.

Is there any quick way to mark your current position in Google Maps Aerial view?

I'm using it as a backup marine GPS, and wanted to mark a few positions.

Is this possible with a physical street address? Wish someone would write a good marine GPS APP with inland lake coverage.

Thanks,

Craig

You could try My Maps Editor from the market, it allows you to drop markers.

My Maps Editor by Google v1.1.6 Application for Android | Travel

I'll try that. For the moment, I logged into Google Maps > My Maps.

There you can draw lines, shapes, and insert pins, etc. Then save it with a simple name.

When you go to Google Maps on the Droid, MENU > LAYERS > MORE LAYERS > MY MAPS >There you will see your saved Map, with your markings.

VERY COOOOOL !!!!!!!!
