Screen goes black IMMEDIATELY after sending call!!!

My screen goes black and my phone locks right after I send a call...then I can't either end the call, switch calls, or put my voicemail passcode in cause phone screen is black and locked!!! Only way I can get it to display if by pushing off/on button on top of phone!!!

How do I fix this???

My droid x started doing the same thing today while trying. To pay my bills. Not avoid time for this
