Screen goes black when entering unlock pattern (sometimes)

My wife has this problem, and its happened to me a few times. The screen will go black in the middle of dragging the unlock pattern. Gotta hit the power button again, and enter the patter again. Ive seen it happen to her 2 or 3 times in a row.

Any advise?

Go to setting>display and change the screen timeout length

Thanks, but that's not the issue. The screen goes black as soon as you start to enter the pattern. It doesn't happen every time, but enough to be bothersome.

yeah i've run into that problem several times too.....it just seems like the droid is starting to hiccup or something.....
