Screen goes bright and dim while viewing...

Does this happen to you guys, while seeing anything from web pages to e-mails, screen just dims for a little while and comes back.....:icon_eek:

Yes, its called auto brightness, perform a search .......

its supposed to do that. you can uncheck that feature in settings.

Also if you have the habit of putting your thumb on and off of the upper right corner of the screen this will affect automatic brightness. Dim when you put your thumb (or other finger) over that corner and brighten when you remove it.

Is there any way to stop this from happening....? I've been all thru my settings and cannot find anything for this. My Automatic Brightness is NOT checked. ?? It's driving me nuts. I know it wasn't doing this before - I've had it for several months now. I think my son got into my phone and changed something (it's happened before). I want use the "capture screen by swiping palm across the screen" but it won't do it because as soon as my hand goes pass that LED light, it dims!! Grrrr!
Anyways, I would so appreciate your help!
