In May, and for no apparent reason, my phone just turned off while txting and when I turned it back on the Motorola "M" comes up, but where it is supposed to go to R2-D2 and make some beep-boop-be-boop powering up noises, it stays on the M but does make the R2 noises. Then the backlight turns off and when I hit the lock button a dim M comes up. I can't get it to go away. The button lights are on, I'm getting notification tones, but the dimmed M is still there no matter what. I've tried taking the battery out, leaving the battery out, seeing if it will just fix itself... then randomly it will just turn on normally.
Today it did it again, and I got so frustrated I wanted to throw it out on the highway. I couldn't find a Verizon store on the way home, and after about an hour and a half, it just turned on normally like everything was fine, meanwhile I'm seething.
Anybody know what this is, and how to prevent, and fix this issue?
