screen sensitivity

Hello everyone it's been awhile since my last post well rant really.
Now that I have gone through four droids yes four first screen crack, second drop in water, third yep screen cracked again.now this new droid that i have has the worst screen sensitivity ever!! i really have to hit the screen to have anything open up. I have search for any settings but nothing? anyone have suggestions? this is without a screen protector also.

A stab in the dark here, but is there a chance it could possibly be temperature
of the device related?

nope not even Verizon people can figure it out they just going to send me another one. im sure it will be a refurb. will see. droid #5 coming..
