Screen stays on

Hello.My screen won't shut off for some reason? It just started happening today.Had phone for a couple months without issue.Did I screw something up? This is my first smart phone.I can hit the side button to shut it off.Thanks for any advice.

I had this same problem, I switched wallpapers and it fixed it. When I go back to the same wallpaper I had it works now, so I'm not sure why it fixed it, but it did.

Did you check your display settings?

Happened to me once, don't know why, but I just restarted my phone and It fixed it

I got it, I'm an idiot.Somehow in my settings it was set to 30 min instead of seconds or something like that.Thanks.Still debating about trying to install froyo with my lack of computer skills.
