Screen turn on delay when slide open?

okay so lately i have noticed that when i slide the phone open it takes like 2 seconds for the screen to turn on and give me the unlock screen... i dont remember if this has been like that the whole time, but i feel its got worse.. (i may just be goin insane and being too anal)

yea i noticed that too but i cant remember how long it took when i first got the phone

im not sure if i did this (by rooting and all the other crap i did) or was it always that way

I'm not rooted and mine takes about the same length of time. No worries
