Screen Unlock will not work, Please help!

Screen unlock will not work when trying to swipe across the phone. Is there a way to do this from the keyboard? I put thephone in safe mode thinking that would help, to no avail. Anyone know how to unlock a phone when like this? Phone is a Motorola Droid Global 2.

this is not a permanent solution, but if you just have the stock slider unlock on and no advanced security, you should be able to pull down the notification bar then click something in there like settings and you will be past the unlock screen, free to do whatever you need.
