SD Card and Applications Question?

Hello people!!

I will like to keep my SD card looking more organized, I use Astro File Manager. However I have a lot of sub folders that I will like to delete.

Does all the applications gets installed on the SD card folders??

I'm afraid to corrupt the application if I deleted all the folders that I don't want.

Thanks! dancedroid

If there is nothing in a folder on your SD and you delete it I see no problems occurring except maybe the app will re-create the folder when it runs. However, you can always "hide" folders on your PC so when you mount you wont see them (thats what I do). Be careful what folders you delete though because if some have files in them they may lose some external data or graphics... the app will be fine, but you may loose some of your own junk.

You are very welcome sir... anytime. (get it...)

Some applications make folders to store content that they download to your phone. Delete the folder all you want, it'll be right back... You can completely wipe your card, and after you remount it with droid, the folders will be right back
