Yep, you may need to format it through settings but you probably won't need to.

Just make sure you purchase a legit card, I bought a 32GB on Ebay. It turned out to be a re-labled 8GB, kept getting errors as it approached 8 gigs. Finally picked up a genuine card from a reputable national retailer and no problems at all. If the price is too good to be true.......well you know the old saying.
