sd card stuck checking for errors

I am running the GPA 16 build with no changes or themes at 800mhz.

I did a full power cycle as I changed my battery, in the notication area it says Preparing sd card checking for errors.

Havent checked everything but it all seems to work.

Any ideas, please help.

Have you tried unmounting it in settings, pulling battery and card, reinserting and rebooting?

Thanks that seems to have fixed my problem.

After doing another battery change it did the same thing.
any new ideas, I don't want to do a factory reset, and or reformat sd card yet hoping for another different fix.

Formatting isn't a huge deal. Just copy everything to your pc, format, then copy it back. That might be the only thing you can do to fix it really.

More information, it seems to stick if I do a battery swap/power cycle, turn off then back on, then if I reboot the phone is fine.

That make any differance?
