SD card unmounted in gallery, but mounted in settings?

This has happened recently, I've went to use the camera or the gallery to find out that the SD card isn't mounted, but when i went into the settings to make sure it was mounted, it was mounted... has this happened to anyone else? any one got a fix? i'm running liquid 2.4
