sd card won't read

just got my d2 today and it just keeps saying that i need to insert an sd card. has anyone else had the same problem or am i just the lucky guy to have a faulty card reader?

well after removing and putting the sd card back in about 40 times, it finally read, but kept removing itself and preparing itself over and over again while i was using it, so i'm pretty sure my problem was the reader in the phone itself. great first day for a new phone amirite?
