Do you need to format the SD card that comes with the Droid?

can u store Apps on the SD card?

Can some one give me the basics of the SD card on the droid or link to post about it

I don't think so, I didn't have to format mine.

Shouldn't have to, no. Your Droid recognizes and uses it out-of-the-box. I've also taken my SD card out of the phone to put it in a usb microSD reader and my computer reads it just fine too. No formatting required.

Not out of the box. cyanogen has found a way to get APPS2SD to work on the Droid. You need to be rooted and you may even need to be using his ROM. Check the Hacks section for more info.
