SD-ext partitions for apps2sd?

do you need to partition your sd card for apps2sd? If so is there a tutorial?

I've not placed any apps on my SD card. I do not believe that you need to partition your card to move apps but I am not positive. I do know that not all apps are designed to run on a SD card so you need to verify.

I've never partitioned before moving apps to the SD card. I don't even know how to do that. Maybe it's helpful to do it, I don't know.

I thought that apps could be moved to an SD card without so scott has confirmed.
