search problem

A lot of the time when i search, usually long thing like best civil engineering schools in the us, halfway through the search my search restarts and it goes blank so i have to restart the search. Two questions. Does anyone else have this issue, and does anyone know of a fix?

Yep I have it happen in google maps and sometimes in the marketplace. It seems if I wait a second after the app opens and let it finish "loading" for lack of a better term then it works just fine. I guess just be a little more patient before typing in the box and wait for an update.
