Secret text from secret contacts

OK I found Handcents and have loved the privacy box feature. But...the texts still show on my wireless billing. I was thinking the message in handcents were not going to show that way but....I'm wrong so far. Anyone know of a way or app that I can use to text that will not show on my billing and keep my current number? I've seen some apps that make you get a secret number.

If the messages are sent/received via your carrier (i.e. your number) they will appear on your bill. The app really doesn't matter as the app can't magically hide messages sent via your carrier.

Your carrier needs to track those messages, so they can bill you.

You can hide messages from the device... but any 'hiding' from your carrier spells trouble IMO. Could be construed as stealing.
