Seidio Battery, special steps

Just got the Seidio 1600 mah extended battery. Do I need to do anything special to get the phone to read the new capacity properly?

Nothing special, just charge as instructed by Seidio and you should be fine. For me, I am getting much better battery life then with the HTC OEM battery. In fact with moderate use since 6am EST I am still at 94% charge.
