Seidio Innotraveler Car Kit Orders..

...fasten the clip that comes with the dock to it. Then I can slide the dock on and off as I please. I PMed the rep here to see if I can get another one so I could use the windshield mount in my other car and swap it back and forth easily. Just need to get a picture of the clip so he knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Can you post a pic of that clip? Because I would like to see how it fastens to the mount, as well. Thanks.

Dude, I don't know what to say. On my Droid, that link takes me to your Picasa gallery. I see a 2008 Flood, Jessica's 25th birthday, pics of your WRX, etc. In Google Chrome, it just takes me to a generic Picasa "featured pics" page. Nothing about a Droid car mount.

I don't think your link is good, or maybe I'm crazy.

I appreciate that. I can see the backside of that piece as it is attached to the windshield mount. Is it attached with a screw?

I know it's a pain, but can you take a picture of the back of the phone holster with it detached from that mounting plate? I'd like to see how that fits together. I'm looking at fabricating a custom mounting plate because I see a better location than the ones ProClip and Panavise offer for my vehicle. But I want to use the ProClip swivel and bolt to that Seidio backing plate.

No, it just snaps in place. I modified mine and I have it attached to a windshield mount with a flexible arm now, so I can't really get any good pics of it. See the 4 square reallslotted holes? There are 4 hooks on the windshield mount plate that fit in to those holes, and then you slide the whole thing down.

Now.. See the indentation? There's a tab on the back of the dock itself that fits in there to lock it in place. I ran a screw through that and in to the other mount I had. The screw is countersunk a bit so it still locks the dock in place. That single screw in the middle was the best idea I came up with.
