Sending A Video Message via Email?

So, I went to send a video message yesterday via gmail to the wife and I thought all was well and good until I looked at the refresh icon in my gmail,( lower right corner of phone, ics platform), and it was continuously spinning. Like it was constantly refreshing or something. Went into labels and saw that the video message i sent was till sending 6 hours after originally sending. Weird. So, plugged it in before bed that night and wife said she received message. Within minutes. So that told me that I cant send a video message with out plugging in my phone? Huh?

I know there was a setting on GB for not sending large files over the network and to wait for a WIFI signal but I can't find it on ICS. How big was the file?

Files was 20.10 mb. 640x480 video

I am not sure on that one, you are under the 25mb limit. Did your phone connect to WIFI when you got home and maybe it just kick started it and sent it off?
