Sending E-mail

I've noticed it a few times that when I try to reply to e-mails and send the e-mail using the stock mail app it will say sent but I go back to check in my sent folder and it never did. Doesn't matter if I'm on 3G or wifi and it's been doing it pretty regularly.

Also some emails will open but it's acting like there is nothing in the e-mail.

Any help for either problem?
