setting ringtones asks for sd card

today outta no where my phone starts vibrating not ringing and when I go to set ringtones it asks for a sd card. other apps including my PC see the sd card and the data is OK

yeah. I tried everything. even took the card out n formatted it. if I go to sd & phone storage it shows it and all the info is correct

Try this. Set an alarm for two minutes, change the alarm sound. When you tap on the alarm sound you should get an option of using a ringtone, alarm sound, and a third option (forgot what it is). Select ringtone and see if you get the same message. Let me know what happens and we can go from there. Good luck!
