Several Questions on Wifi Usage

New Droid convert here. Rocking the Samsung Fascinate from VZ. I'm still trying to figure out all of the bells and whistles as I just got the phone on Saturday. I tried researching my questions, but can't seem to find answers to all of my questions. So I apologize in advance if any of these questions are dupes.

1. What can I actually use the wifi connection for besides watching porn. yes, that was the only answer I found. Can I surf the internet through it or just run apps?

2. How can you keep the wifi on after the screen goes dark? I saw an explanation for the Droid, but i can't find the settings on the Fascinate.

3. There seems to be a lot of people with wifi connection issues, what have you found to be the best way to connect to your router?

1. You can use the WiFi for all things data, you can suref the internet using the browser, you can play games via apps etc.

2. You mean keep the screen lit? Menu - settings - sound & Display - Screen Timeout.

3. I use an airport extreme. I just connect. No problems.
