If you are a fan of turn-based tactical RPG games and are looking for a fantastic game to play this Christmas, then you owe it to yourself to check out Shadowrun: Dragonfall the Director's Cut from Harebrained Schemes. It's available for Android now on the Google Play Store for $6.99, and it's one of the most unique and enjoyable RPG experiences ever to grace a display interface.
This game was designed by the original creator of the pen-and paper tablet-top version of the Shadowrun game, Jordan Weisman, and got its start on Kickstarter. The unique genre of the Shadowrun universe mixes swords & sorcery with the cyberpunk possibilities of the near future. You have magic, dragons, elves, and more, but it's all set in a near-future setting in which you also have computer hacking, cybernetic enhancements, mini-guns, drones and more. It's a brilliantly executed mix of themes from Deus Ex and Baldur's Gate, yet set in the year 2054 here in our world.
We've included the full description taken directly from the developer's website in the thread below, and here are links to the developer's website and the Google Play Store. Happy Holidays!
[Editor's Note: I own and played the non-Director's Cut version of this on the PC, which you can get on Steam or GOG, and highly recommend it if you enjoy the turn-based mechanics of classic RPG games. If you like fantasy RPGs and/or sci-fi RPGs, then this game will appeal to you and offer hours of great entertainment. The $6.99 price is an absolute bargain!]
