I am new to using a droid x. My last phone was a razor. Can I transfer a text video to my computer and how do I do this if possibe?

I don't get a lot of video texts but my guess would be to longpress on the video and see if a "save to sd" option comes up, select it and then mount your SD to your Computer and drag the file over -
