Shortcut to Folder on SD card....

Subject sort of says it all. I want to create a shortcut on my homepage that points to a folder on my SD card (not the folder sdcard that the phone strorage is called). A few options I have foundon the net, but have not worked thus far:
1. download Linda Manager, yet my SD card does not even show up in this app.
2. Long press a blank spot on the homepage and select create shortcut. Uh, when I long press my homepage, the wallpaper menu pops up......

Help is greatly appreciated...

I figured it out, had to do some manual folder browsing, but got it. That being said,

Anyone know how to change what the longpush does on your homescreen? Mine brings up the wallpaper menu.
