Should I stay with the Global?

Hi I'm a bit new to phones and new to the forum although I've been reading posts for a while to solve my problems or try to

I have a chance to get a new phone for free, so should I keep the global or switch to the thunderbolt?
I don't know much about the thunderbolt but the screens bigger and the cameras better, its also got 4g. On the other hand I'm quite fond of my keyboard but my global has non-stop problems. the music only plays for a couple of minutes and it freezes every other song. I've tried all the fixes I've read about and different music players. Also my touch screen only works half the time probably less and when it does its really glitchy and selects whatever it wants. For example last night I was stranded and my touchscreen was unresponsive and when it did start to work it started calling random people and it still wouldn't respond to me.
Also the screen size and phone thickness is an issue.

Well what's everyones oppinion. How do the two phones stack up with memory, stability and media capabilities?

I would go to the Thunderbolt, especially since your Global is having so many issues.

i would also go with the thunderbolt or possibly the Charge.... just do alot of research, go to a Verizon store and mess around with one of them, get used to it, cause well you are gonna have to regardless lol. I personally like the Tbolt, BUT the display isnt nearly as crisp as the supreamoled display on the charge... and then there is the d3 that was released online, and also there is the bionic which should be coming out soon too... so like i said, do research. it will pay for it in the end :)

The global is still a very good phone even though its already more than a half a year old, the thunderbolt has some serious battery issues, there are some stories of people having the battery die on them 4 times a day!!! A lot of people have to use it on 3g just to have it last some of the day, that's not very good. If you want to get a new phone, id say you go for the charge, because it has exceptional battery life even with 4g, and it isn't locked down like the d2g or the d3
