Shut-Down Tone

I know there is a way around this. I just don't know what it is.

When I turn off my Droid X, it makes a single loud beep. I have not been able to find a way to prevent that beep from sounding. any ideas?

Go to settings / sounds/ uncheck sd card

Still Making Noise

I went to Settings > Sound > SD card notifications and I unchecked it. When I shut down, it still makes the loud beep.

I have the same issue and unchecking the SD card notifications did not do it for me either.
