Shutter Sound

on my old phones, i was able to turn off the shutter sound everytime i took a picture
i looked thru the forums with the keyword "shutter" and got nothing
maybe i didn't look hard enough but
does anyone know how to turn off the shutter sound??

on a stock phone you cannot turn it off.
Some of the rom's that are to be used with a rooted phone have that sound removed.

Set the phone to silent before taking pictures.
