signal issues and *22899

So I have read on several different forums about signal issues and the PRL on the phone. I initially tried the simcard pull trick because *228 has been known to fry simcards, but it never updated the PRL, it stayed at 15109. After more research I found that you can save *22899 as a contact and then dial the number and that will update the PRL. Well needless to say I tried it and actually it worked. My PRL is now at 52870 and my signal is much better. Might be a good option if even after the updated radios your still having signal issues.

Just tried it and worked for me as well I'm now at 52870 prl version..... Time will tell if signal is better
