Signal Strength... Battery Life... Web page loading speeds.

5+ hours of screen, are you texting? Angry birds? Streaming videos?

BTW I'm now at 61%, this is the 1st time I touched the phone since earlier.

If it's not HD it might as well be a newspaper.

Jaydub5, have you tried to turn off chrome sync. Chrome loves to constantly refresh. I killed on mine and "whoa!!! What a difference"

If it's not HD it might as well be a newspaper.

I keep the main sync off. How do I turn off Chrome Sync? I looked in
Chrome Settings... Zip.
Right now I have only 2 bars of signal strength. I max out at 3 bars.

open up chrome > close all tabs > menu > settings > click your email account > sync off.

in 18 hours it only had 4 wake locks and 20 seconds of background usage. Down from 700 to 800 wake locks 20 minutes of background cpu usage.

Turning off Chrome sync

Once I get to settings, there is no email selection.
I do not sync to a computer, and have the main
Sync switch on the power bar off. Is this enough?

Lloyd, this is all I see in Settings.

I wouldn't know how chrome acts personally without an account, always signed in, but by default it tries to sync every computer, tablet, phone. I don't use my phone on the weekend, Monday I will see if I can sign out and mimic your problem. There is no benefit of signing into chrome other than them collecting more trends from everybody. One advantage though is turning off sync, even though if its the only thing that uses chrome what the #@&* is it trying to sync. Personally I don't need my home bookmarks on my phone, if I did I would manually add them myself.

Turbo... What is your signal strength? How much time was your screen on? NO VOICE
CALLS?

Signal strength is full bars! I'm three miles from the nearest cell. Screen is generally on a good bit. I monitor several forums.
