Silence widget

I upgrade to the Maxx from the Droid X and want a widget like I had on my old phone to quickly silence the phone with a touch on an on off silence button. When I downloaded a free app, I couldn't find it on my desktop. It was listed in all the apps running but would not open nor could I add it to the desktop. Any suggestions. :blink:

The app you downloaded is probably in your widgets. You need to open up your apps and scroll to the right (widgets). Long press and attach to home screen.

The phone has a switch too. I use "toggle widget" for my phone.
