Silent mode not working

First... Merry Christmas!

Second. What the heck. I set ,my Droid to silent mode, a call comes in and it turns silent mode off and promptly rings. I am not impressed.

Same results if I turn the volume all the way down.

Thoughts?

Hmmm... never ran into that but it took me about an hour to get frustrated with silent mode also disabling vibrate - before I downloaded Ring Toggle. This simplifies things greatly. May want to try that.

you sure your phone is in silent mode?

It could be your media volume that you turned down all the way and not the ringtone.
