Silly questions about bookmarks and subscriptions

Hello all,

What is the difference between bookmarking a site in the native browser, and "subscribing" by clicking on the RSS looking button to the right of the address bar when scrolled to the top of a page?

Bookmark will put a shortcut for that website under your bookmark tab. And the RSS will update you every time that site is updated.
