Jeez, I keep searching for the exact answer to my question but I'm having trouble locating it.
I just got back to Froyo. I want to remain on Froyo. I want the phone to work as it does on stock Froyo and I do not want to get Gingerbread ever again. If a truly fixed OS comes out within the next year, I want to then be able to acquire the update but, for the time being, I don't want to get Gingerbread.
So I have stock Froyo, Z4Root, and Titanium Backup installed and that's it. I have not yet reactivated or restored anything to the phone and the radios are all off for the time being.
In Titanium Backup, I want to freeze the updater that will prevent Gingerbread. However, I don't see what various posts are saying to freeze as there are various suggestions.
The only item in the list Titanium provides is Updater 2.2.1. There's no com.motorola.blur or similar items listed. So is Updater 2.2.1 the correct and only item to freeze to prevent Gingerbread from happening?
Thanks,
Kevin
