Skype for Android Updated; Fixes Vulerability & Adds 3G Calling

You can head over to the Market and get a new updated version of Skype. The v1.0.0.983 version fixes a security vulnerability that would have exposed personal info to hackers. The leaked video version of Skype still has the vulnerability, so be wary. The new update also adds an interesting new feature. Skype can now give you the option to use it for 3G calling. That's pretty slick!

Wow, I can actually receive and make calls with my online numbers (I have 2 with Skype). Amazing. This has been a long time coming. The iPhone has had this since forever. WOOT. . Now video? lol I imagine that isn't too far behind.

I am with verizon and I want to make 3g calls without using minutes to a friend on sprint. Using the new market version can we both use this skype to skype without me using minutes. I never found a clear answer.
