Hi, I'm looking at buying the Droid 2 Global and am on Verizon (USA based)
I want to be able to Skype to other international Skype users while in Ireland.
Am I better off with an itouch or can I use the Droid on a Wifi connection?
Also, I understand that in the United States I can only use the Verizon network for Skype among USA Skype users. If I want to Skype to an international Skype user, I have to use Wifi.
The Droid 2 Global can be used as a hotspot? So, could I use the phone as an internet connection on my laptop, and Skype internationally without relying upon Wifi???
If I purchase the Droid and take the phone to Ireland, I know it is GMS compatible. Do I need to get a sim card to simply use Wifi on the phone while in Ireland?
