Microsoft just updated the Android version of Skype to 5.0. Although the new update doesn't bring about a large number of changes, the few that it brings are quite useful.
The biggest change is that it is now much easier to find your friends on Skype. You can now find contacts by linking your address book to Skype. You will have to verify your real phone number to access this feature, but it seems worth it for the most part.
