Skype with video 4/11/2011

Still trying to get it going on my end. Link is good, but failed install 3 times so far.. From looking at Droid Life it seems to be specific to the TB.. No problem here thats what I am using, but to answer that question now..

GOT IT!! Awesome.. Thunderbolt has pulled through for me. Can't wait to try it to say good night to the kids .. in person.. kind of..

Just DL and installed it, just had a 20 min video call with no problems... finally! I can make use of this FFC

EDIT: that 20 min call dropped my battery about 20%... Also, the person I was calling with was complaining of some awful feedback, I think it had to do with the multiple microphone configuration maybe? seemed to get better when I covered up a few mics

Well glad the charge port is on the side now so when you are video calling you can use the kickstand and charge.. lol.. and wouldn't surprise me if there is a mic issue since that has been shown with taking video..

The file is not working for me....is this the same Skype mobile that is on the market and will this work with my wife's mytouch 4g?

Sent from my ADR6400L using DroidForums

Installed and works likes charm... Make sure you have the option to install files outside of market... Or else you won't be able to complete the install... And nno you can't install this on any other phone... It says thunderbolt only.....

Looks like I have a new project to work on tonight. I've never used Skype but now seems like a good time as any to check it out.

"There is a problem parsing the package"....the message I get after download....wth???EDIT:::: Ok third time's a charm....working now...:)
