I am running the 4.5.596 rooted build. Everything seems to be working fine with the exception that Slacker Radio will hang up and/or stop playing every couple of songs. Any ideas or suggestions? Was it just a bad install of Gingerbread or is this a known issue?

Thanks.

Slacker lockup 3.0.516

I'm having the same issue with Slacker player locking up after a couple of songs on my HTC Thunderbolt. This is on Verizon 4G LTE. I have rolled back the last update, but I am unable to uninstall Slacker.

The 4G LTE is so fast, i'm getting 15-30 mb p/s down and up. I tried it on Wifi to and it seems to be working fine.

Now I think it is Verizon blocking it some how. Any thoughts?

I also ran Slacker via Wifi today with no problems. I would be curious to see if this is Verizon, or if one of the last updates for Slacked broke the 3G stream somehow.

Have you tried any other similar streaming services to see if you get similar results? I'm going to see if any other streaming services have this issue also.

Slacker lockup

I have tried Pandora without any issues on 4G LTE. I just prefer Slacker's stations.

May have to create more stations with Pandora, if I can't get this working.

So it is probably Slacker then? That's too bad. I much prefer Slacker over Pandora. They have a much better song selection.

Oh well, at least I can know its not my 3G not keeping its signal. So that's good.

I just got the 2.3.3 push from Verizon this weekend on my Droid X. Slacker and Pandora "seem" to run ok, but TuneIn Pro and a simple stream player, put out by a local station, both keep crashing/ rebooting the phone within 20 - 25 minutes. I tried uninstall/reinstall of the apps and pulled the battery and neither tactic gave me any love. Also, anyone else seen wierd charging status problems? When off the system showed 60% charge, yet shows full charge when running (connected to charger). Also, 3rd party chargers seem to have quite working altogether.

The problem I'm having with slacker is that the music stops immediately when I press the home button. Anyone else having this problem?
