slide to answer call??

Some calls I have the slide to answer button and sometimes I just have a button to push to answer. I prefer to just push the button. How come sometimes its a slider and sometimes a push button to answer a call?

When the phone is locked you get the slide to answer option. When it's not locked you get the button.

I'm actually finding a lot of new features on the Droid X that weren't on the Droid 1. Definitely a learning curve, but so far almost everything has been a welcome improvement.

Any hard buttons to answer phone?

Can any of the hard buttons be configured to answer an incoming phone call? Might be handy outdoors on a sunny day.
