Slow kernel request

Does anyone have an availble kernel with 400 mhz. I am going into the wilderness for a few days and would like to use gps and compass. Its a nice backup, to extend battery life i plan on installing a clean rom with only maps and compass apps installed and therefore dont need any type of high performance. So... anyone know of an extremely low performance rom and kernel.

Funny i didnt even realize my kernel had 400. My fault for not checking.... i thought it went form 250 to 550 skipping everything in between.
