Slow maxx reset?

I have a razr max that runs just about perfect after i clear the cashe with Titanium back up. But some time (could be hours or days) after it will get very slow, restarting it seems to help a bit. I tried to do a factory data reset a few months ago. I am not really sure if i am using the right terms, but I booted into recovery and picked the option that sounded the most resetting. I figured that would make it factory fresh. It still knew things like my wifi password and a few other things. so it obviously didnt clear everything. I am rooted and running a stock rom. I would like to get it back to working fast, but i am not sure if resetting the way i did last time is worth the effort. Whats the best way to wipe it completely and start from scratch?
